Shapes.

This is the first thing i ever did on Adobe Illustrator. By creating these shapes i was learning how to use the pen tool. And with the tear drop shape i was learning how to make curved lines instead of only knowing how to make basic shapes with angles.

Self portrait.

In this project, i used Adobe Illustrator to make a cartoon looking portrait of myself. I had a base background of an original picture of myself and created different layers over the background to draw on my picture. I used the pen tool to trace features of my face and fill them in with color. This was one of my favorite projects because its cool making yourself look like a cartoon then drawing a colorful background to make the picture pop. I didn't make it look exactly how i looked. I changed the hair color, eyebrow color, shirt color and lip color. I even added a necklace to it.

Celebrity Face.

In this project i learned how to merge two different pictures together to create one. i had to take a picture of myself at the exact angle that Fantasia's face was, then i cut out my face and pasted it on top of the original picture. But its not that easy. I had to change the color of my skin to match hers. Even tho are heads were turned the same way they weren't exactly on point so i had to move my head around, then i had to blind my face to her skin so it looks like my face actually belongs to her body.

Intro to Photoshop !

This is one of my "Intro to Photoshop" projects. I learned the how to use different layers to give the picture a certain look. I used to pen tool to draw the picture. I also used the burn tool to give it the effect of there being shadows and sunlight shinning on certain areas. I think i was very creative with how i made my picture look and i am very proud of its outcome.

Introduction.

Hello , my names Le'Chelle Davidson. Im a senior at Lincoln High School. This is my portfolio for my forth period multimedia class with Mr. Mutter. On this blog i will be posting samples of my work and summary paragraphs to explain my work. I am new to multimedia, im learning how to use photoshop and its concepts.
